The map of love
In 1900, Lady Anna Winterbourne travels to Egypt under British occupation. There she falls in love with Sharif al-Baroudi, an Egyptian patriot. A 100 years later, Isabel Parkman, a descendant of Anna and Sharif, goes to Egypt, taking with her an old trunk. The notebooks and journals in the trunk reveal her ancestors' lives and affect her own.
