it was amazing

Well-crafted and wonderfully spun tale. I learned a bit about the history of Egypt, a bit about colonialism, a bit more about the situation of women 100 years ago--British women of a certain class, and women in Egypt. This book also offered the opportunity to think about time and the complexities of life in a larger context.
