Put the following Psalm into the rhythmical form.

Τίς ἀναβήσεται εἰς τὸ ὄρος τοῦ Κυρίου, καὶ τίς στήσεται ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ;

PSALM xxiv.

Luke viii. 9, 10.

Rom. vi. 5, 6, 7.

Luke vi. 15.

1. What doctrines are deducible from

this passage?

2. Explain the phrase σαββάτῳ δευτεροπρώτῳ.

3. To what circumstances of David's life does our Lord refer?

O the depth of the riches,

Both of the wisdom and of the knowledge

of God!

How unsearchable are his judgments!

And his ways past finding out!

For who hath known the mind of the Lord?

Or who hath been his counsellor ?

Or who hath first given to him?

And it shall be recompensed to him again.
For from Him, and by Him, and to Him

are all things.

To Him be the glory for ever!

Can this passage be reduced to the

But he that feareth the Lord, honoured; Who swears to the wicked and breaks not his oath.

Psalm xix. 4.

He that putteth not out his money to usury, And taketh not a bribe against the in

nocent;

He that doeth these things shall never be

Psalm xv. 5.

Thy righteousness is like the great mountains,
Thy judgments like a great deep;
Thou preservest man and beast, O Lord.
