AT the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 24th day of June, 1856.

The QUEEN'S Most Excellent Majesty in Council was pleased to approve and ratify the schemes duly prepared (as set forth in this Gazette) by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England

For substituting a money payment for certain property belonging to the dean and chapter of the cathedral church of Saint Asaph, and for regulating the incomes of the deans and canons residentiary of the same church.

For substituting a money payment to the Bishop of Oxford for a certain estate belonging to his see.

For permanently annexing a canonry residentiary in the cathedral church of St. Asaph to each of the archdeaconries of St. Asaph and Montgomery, in the diocese of St. Asaph.

For substituting a money payment to the Archdeacon of Durham, for certain property belonging to his archdeaconry.

For substituting a money payment for certain estates belonging to the bishoprick of Carlisle.

For authorizing the sale of certain property formerly belonging to the sinecure rectory of Fulham, and now vested in the said Commissioners.

For authorising the sale of certain property formerly belonging to the see of Gloucester and Bristol, and now vested in the said Commissioners.

The QUEEN'S Most Excellent Majesty in Council was pleased to approve the representation made (as set forth in this Gazette) by Her Majesty's Commissioners for building new churches

For assigning particular districts to the consecrated churches of St. Jude, Manchester; St. Stephen, Chorlton-upon-Medlock; St. Oswald, Collyhurst; and St. John, at Miles Platting.

The Queen has been graciously pleased to appoint John Patrick Carruthers, Esq., to be Her Majesty's Consul at Taganrog.

Reigate Union.-Foreign of Reigate.

An Order of the Poor Law Board to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the part of the parish of Reigate termed the Foreign of Reigate, in the county of Surrey, and to all others whom it may concern, dated the 24th day of June, 1856, directs that so much of the Act 13th and 14th Vict., c. 57, as relates to the appointment of a vestry clerk shall forthwith be applied to and be put in force within the said part of the parish of Reigate.
