The words देव, दैत्य, मनुष्य, पर्वत, समुद्र, स्वर्ग. मेघ, किरण, दिवस, असि, शर, यज्ञ, आत्मा, नख (also neu. ) केश, दन्त, कण्ड, गल, स्तन, भुज, गुल्फ, and their synonyms, and words expressive of the measures of corn &c., such as कुडव &c. " Exceptions——यो fem. दिव् fem खारी fem. मानिका fem. ta kind of weight, त्रिविष्टप neu. दिन neu. ; अहन् ten.; and अभ्र nen. अक्षता: 'uninjured rice,’ , $ 847. II. FEMININE WonDs. $ 349. Verbal derivatives formed by the terminations अनि, नि. नि, ति, ई and ऊं'; as अवनिः; भूतिः, ग्लानिः, गतिः, चमूः, लक्ष्मीः; &c. Words denoting fruits, and all numerals from शत upwards, except शङ्कु mas, and कोटि fem., आम्रं, आनलकं, &c, शर्त, सहस्रं &c. $ 356. The words मुख, नयन, लोह, धन, मांस, रुधिर, कार्मुक ' bow, &c. विवर, जल, हल, धन, बल, अन्न, कुडुम, शुल्ब 'copper,' पत्तन, रण and their synonyms.
