$ 150 अन्तर is a pronoun (and therefore declined like सर्व m. f. n.) when it means "exterior, outer; or what is to be worn outside, as a garment"† except when followed by g; it is optionally declined like nouns ending in sr in the Nom. pl. and Ab, and L9e. sing. of the mas; eg . Nom. ; but दक्षिणाः गायकाः (skilful musicians) only, and not दक्षिणे; for दक्षिण does not show any relation here; so उत्तराः कुरवः and not उत्तरे, as उत्तराः is a name here.
