IN republishing a Work, the Author of which had the honour of being one of your Lordship's subordinate Coadjutors in superintending the Spiritual Concerns of the Diocese of Sarum, I feel gratified by the permission to dedicate it to your Lordship; sensible as I am, that “The Guide to the Church" will derive additional value from the countenance of a Prelate, not less distinguished as a "Master in Israel," than as a firm and uncompromising Defender of the Church of England.
