THE LAW JOURNAL REPORTS FOR THE YEAR 1836: COMPRISING REPORTS OF CASES IN THE COURTS OF Equity, and Bankruptcy, King's Bench, Common Pleas, Exchequer of Pleas, and Exchequer Chamber, FROM MICHAELMAS TERM 1835, TO TRINITY TERM 1836, BOTH INCLUSIVE. EDITED BY MONTAGU CHAMBERS, OF LINCOLN'S INN, Esq. BARRISTER-AT-LAW. VOL. XIV. NEW SERIES-VOL. V. PART I. EQUITY AND BANKRUPTCY. LONDON: Printed by James Holmes, 4, Took's Court, Chancery Lane. PUBLISHED BY E. B. INCE, 5, QUALITY COURT, CHANCERY LANE. MDCCCXXXVI. ADVERTISEMENT. IN consequence of the increased Number and Bulk of the LAW JOURNAL REPORTS, and at the instance of several SUBSCRIBERS, a new arrangement of the order of placing the REPORTS in the several Courts, and of the INDEXES, is this year adopted, and will for the future be observed. By this means, the REPORTS of the Year may, if it should be thought desirable, be bound in Two Volumes; the first comprising the Cases in the CHANCERY, EQUITY EXCHEQUER, and BANKRUPTCY COURTS; and the second, the Cases in the three COMMON LAW COURTS, and relating to MAGISTRATES: or the MAGISTRATES' CASES may be bound separately, or with the ABRIDGMENT OF STATUTES. This arrangement, however, will not interfere with the usual plan of binding all the REPORTS in One Volume, where that is thought preferable, as the original Title-page has been printed with that view; but separate Title-pages have been supplied for the purpose of carrying into effect the proposed division of the Work into Two or Three Volumes, at the option of the Subscriber.
