2. O, happy bond that seals my vows To Him who merits all my love! Let cheerful anthems fill the house, While to His altar now I move. 3. T is done the great transaction 's done; I am my Lord's, and He is mine; He drew me, and I followed on,

Charmed to confess the voice divine.

4. Now rest, my long-divided heart!

Fixed on this blissful centre, rest;
Here have I found a nobler part,

Here heavenly pleasures fill my breast.

5. High Heaven, that hears the solemn vow, That vow renewed, shall daily hear; Till, in life's latest hour, I bow,

And bless in death a bond so dear.

1. JESUS, the sinner's Friend, to Thee,
Lost and undone, for aid I flee;
Weary of earth, myself, and sin,
Open Thine arms and take me in.
2. Pity and save my sin-sick soul,

T is Thou alone canst make me whole;
Dark, till in me Thine image shine,
And lost I am till Thou art mine.

From the Dulcimer.

3. At length I own it can not be,

That I should fit myself for Thee,
Here now to Thee I all resign,
Thine is the work, and only Thine.

4. What shall I say Thy grace to move? Lord, I am sin, but Thou art love; give up every plea beside,Lord, I am lost, but Thou hast died.

1. THIS child we dedicate to Thee,
O God of grace and purity!
Shield it from sin and threatening wrong,
And let Thy love its life prolong.

2. O may Thy Spirit gently draw

Its willing soul to keep Thy law;
May virtue, piety, and truth,
Dawn even with its dawning youth.
3. We, too, before Thy gracious sight,

Once shared the blest baptismal rite,
And would renew its solemn vow
With love, and thanks, and praises, now.
4. Grant that, with true and faithful heart,
We still may act the Christian's part,
Cheered by each promise thou hast given,
And laboring for the prize in heaven.

1. DEAR Saviour, if these lambs should stray From Thy secure inclosure's bound, And, lured by worldly joys away,

Among the thoughtless crowd be found; 2. Remember still that they are Thine,

That Thy dear sacred name they bear; Think that the seal of love divine,

The sign of covenant grace they wear. 3. In all their erring, sinful years,

O let them ne'er forgotten be;
Remember all the prayers and tears

Which made them consecrate to Thee. 4. And when these lips no more can pray,

These eyes can weep for them no more, Turn Thou their feet from folly's way;

The wand'rers to Thy fold restore.

1. O, Bow Thine ear, Eternal One!
On Thee our heart adoring calls;
To Thee the followers of Thy Son
Have raised, and now devote these walls.

2. Here let Thy holy days be kept;

And be this place to worship given, Like that bright spot where Jacob slept, The house of God, the gate of heaven.

3. Here may Thine honor dwell; and here, As incense, let Thy children's prayer, From contrite hearts and lips sincere, Rise on the still and holy air.

4. Here be Thy praise devoutly sung;

Here let Thy truth beam forth to save, As when, of old. Thy Spirit hung,

On wings of light, o'er Jordan's wave.

5. And when the lips, that with Thy name
Are vocal now, to dust shall turn,
On others may devotion's flame
Be kindled here, and purely burn!
