Biochemic Remedies

IN THE CURE OF DISEASE

In the treatment of disease the physician should use the best means to be had. He is not doing his duty to his patient or to himself, if he fails to do this. The treatment of disease today is almost wholly directed to the relief of acute and distressing symptoms, without special regard to ultimate effects. A recovery from an attack is sought, and a removal of disease products, rather than a change of disease processes and removal of original cause. Indeed, it is considered impossible, in most diseases, to actually cure, and, with the means ordinarily employed, this is certainly true. But, through the use of Biochemic remedies, much can be done which is otherwise impossible. That some diseases are incurable is a fact for which the treatment is wholly responsible. Change the treatment and you change results. Diseases which are almost universally considered incurable, are very tractable under Biochemic remedies. The difference lies in the fact that ordinary drugs produce artificial results, while Biochemic remedies produce natural results, and they are therefore permanent.

Ensign Remedies, which are the best representatives of the Biochemic system, are worth investigating. It would be foolish to misrepresent them to as intelligent a body of men as American physicians. You would soon find us out. If we had Remedies in any way inferior to our representations, it would be wisest to sell them to the laity, and avoid the physicians. But we offer our product to the doctors for a fair test, and are perfectly willing to abide by results and risk our future success upon them. A letter received today from an Indiana doctor, who has used our Remedies several years, says: "Your suggestions are very valuable to me; for from all past dealings I have had with you, have come to regard your statements with absolute confidence.' And this kind of expression is not

unusual.

Write us today for literature. Give the Remedies a fair trial in your practice and you will find them indispensable. That is the experience of those who really investigate them. We send no samples. We make over 2.000 Remedies, and samples are impossible. It costs very little to test the Remedies and the Remedies are actually worth more than we ask for them.

Remember that the Ensign Remedies are not based upon the abortive twelve-salt system of Schuessler, but contain the natural elements used in the living body, in a state of health. Do not confound them with other manufactures. They are different. The twelve-salt system is good, but it is very limited. Try the Ensign system, and the kind of disease need not discourage you

Cold, Stubborn
Clinical Facts-

not theoretic guess-work-have proven that four-fifths of all men, even those free from gonorrheal taint, have catarrhal ulcer in the prostatic urethra; which, in time, extends to the neck of bladder, sem. ves., etc., causing the prostate gland to swell, damming up nature's greatest sewer-obstructing the voiding of urine, and retaining of over two hundred varieties of toxic bacteria in relation with an open ulcer, which is being constantly absorbed day and night. Do you still wonder at obscure "grippe," rheumatism, appendicitis, etc.? 'Tis true, nature comes to our relief by covering this ulcer with tenacious mucous; but it is washed off with an acrid urine, too acid or alkaline. Even the granulations under the mucous is carried by the circulation to the end arteries of heart, kidneys or brain, forming emboli or infarctions inducing hemorrhage, softening of brain, infiltration in heart or kidney.

Sudden deaths from auto-infection, uremia, cardialgia, etc., are common. Many hundreds of times have I rescued men just in time.George Whitfield Overall, A. B. M. D. Price $2.00. Rowe Publishing Co., 74 E. Madison Street, Chicago.

Don't Prescribe

a Stone Post

Long years ago, when half the men of Scotland carried about itching backs, the Duke of Argyll had stone posts set up at intervals beside the highway as a convenient place for the passerby to scratch. So much were the moments of relief appreciated that each man, as he scratched, was sure to say "God bless the Duke of Argyll."

But stone post treatment will not do today. During these summer months countless thousands of persons will go to their doctors for relief from some maddening skin infection the heated weather makes intolerable, more especially catarrhs and itching inflammation of the genito-urinary and rectal organs of both male and female, as well as the treatment of infantile and other diarrhoeas. This is no time for the physician to experiment, no time to offer stone post remedies-his patient wants something that soothes while it heals, and does both rapidly. A good remedy is not enough. It must be the best. From the torture of burning, swollen feet, hives, mosquito bites, prickly heat, sun burn, offensive perspiration, etc.-in short, from all of the many torments of the heated season -science has been able to guarantee, and practice been able to prove, but one prompt and positive relief and cure
