RESOLUTION OF THE OHIO LEGISLATURE, On the subject of Domestic Manufactures. MARCH 15, 1830. Read, and laid upon the table. Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That they concur in the opinion of the Legislature of Pennsylvania, as expressed in the following resolution: "Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, that the Tariff of eighteen hundred and twenty-eight accords with the spirit of the Constitution of the United States, and that it maintains the true principles of protection to the industry of the country against foreign policy and legislation. Resolved, That the Governor be requested to transmit copy of the foregoing resolution to each of the Governors of the several States of the Union, with a request to have the same laid before their respective Legislatures; and, also, forward copies of the same to each of our Senators and Representatives in Congress. A RESOLUTION, Concurring with the States of South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia, in the epision expressed by them on the subject of the tariff, Colonizatien Society, and internal improvements. The Select Committee to whom were referred sundry documents, to wit: remonstrance to the States in favor of the tariff, adopted by the Legisure of the State of Georgia; the report of the Select Committee of the Leature of the State of Virginia on the resolutions of Georgia and South rolina; and also the resolutions adopted by the State of South Carolina the subject of the tariff, Colonization, Society, and internal improvepets" having had the same under consideration, beg leave respectfully to ert: That, having weighed well the subject matter of said resolutions, they concur with said States in the course they have pursued. Your comthe deem it needless to enter into a long and detailed series of arguments, a prove the soundness of the policy pursued by said States; they therefore deem it subcient to acknowledge their acquiescence in the policy adopted by these States, and move the adoption of the following resolution.
